Portraiture is by far the most popular type of photography in the world. Photographing people is deceptively simple: what can be easier than just pointing a camera at someone’s face and pressing the shutter, right? Of course, modern digital cameras and even camera-equipped smartphones reduced taking pictures to an effortless experience, and creating a decent portrait became a point-and-shoot affair. However, there is a distinct difference between “decent” and “great”, and if you want to consistently create great portrait photos, be ready to invest some effort. Do not be afraid, it’s fun!

This two-day workshop is for those interested in advanced interior portraiture techniques, both professionals and enthusiasts.

What will you learn?

Fine Print

Camera is not essential. In fact, the less equipment you have with you, the better. However, if you wish to bring one, make sure that it is not without manual controls. A camera with just  one lens (preferably 50mm f/1.4)) will rid you of a constant need to make a choice what gear to use.

Be prepared to actively participate in photo shoots, on both sides of the camera. Knowing what it’s like, hugely improves communication skills with models and a crew.

Alcoholic beverages and other mind-altering substances  are not allowed before and during class. It may sound like a joke, but it is not. No admission, no refunds.
